New Daily Vlogs

A lot of people are interested to know whats it’s like living day-to-day with chronic disease–especially Crohn’s Disease, Arthritis, and Necrosis. I’ve created a YouTube channel where I share short updates about life with chronic disease–everything from doctor visits to general updates on how I’m feeling. I want the videos to be authentic as possible so everything is one-take with absolutely no editing or effects.

Let me know what you think about my Vlog, and if you have any questions you want answered about life with chronic disease.

Check it out here: Life With Crohn’s Disease Vlog

Thanks!

Author: Dylan B Nelson

After being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, Avascular Necrosis, Enteropathic Arthritis, and an Atrial Septal Defect, Dylan like so many other people with chronic conditions struggled to manage his health. Being frustrated with the current solutions, Dylan helped create mediswarm.com, a social health network where it's easy to meet other people with the same conditions. Users can ask questions and get real answers, see top solutions for their conditions, and get support from a community of people just like them. Dylan's ultimate goal for MEDI+SWARM is that it can become a resource for individuals who have chronic health conditions to get the help they need and to help improve their overall health outcomes.

  1. You might want to include life style changes your health conditions require you to make to live the quality of life your experiencing. This will place these health challenges in better perspective. For the average person (especially young person) crohn’s is likely associated with indigestion or a “nervous stomach.” Without understanding the changes you’ve had to incorporate to live a quality life, the “disease” isn’t really “real” to them.
    Just a suggestion.
    Have a wonderful weekend. πŸ™‚

    1. This is a GREAT suggestion! You know how to nail it on the head. A lot of my friends might think I’m “flaky” or “lazy” for not always wanting to go out with them every single night. Thanks for the suggestion. I hope you are doing well! πŸ™‚

  2. Wishing you well in your challenges, I’ve found that with my arthritis diagnosis, it’s actually a blessing as I can learn how to live with this. I self-diagnosed (erroneously) and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t feeling better. Now that I know, I can concentrate on learning what I need to do. I have a niece-in-law with Crohn’s and I know it can be painful and challenging- I wish you the very best in finding what helps you ! Wishing you the very best in health Dylan!
